Amanda Strider, Instructor
Amanda came to yoga as a university student, looking for a way to maintain her fitness and flexibility after many years of dance. It was love at first down dog so she continued to attend classes on and off for the next several years. As a Kinesiolgist specializing in chronic pain, she became fascinated by the deep connection between the body, breath, and the mind and wanted to bring a more holistic approach to her rehabilitative practice.
Amanda completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training under the guidance of Christina Raskin as well as a Pain Care Yoga teacher training course under Tianne Allan. She is registered with the International Yoga Alliance as well as the British Columbia Associaton of Kinesiologists. Amanda believes yoga is for everybody and would describe her classes as accessible, empowering, dynamic, and fun!
