Amanda came to yoga as a university student, looking for a way to maintain her fitness and flexibility after many years of dance. It was love at first down dog, and she continued to attend classes on and off for the next several years. As a Kinesiolgist specializing in chronic pain, Amanda became fascinated by the deep connection between the body, the breath, and the mind and wanted to bring a more holistic approach to her rehabilitative practice. She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training under the guidance of Christina Raskin as well as a  Pain Care Yoga teacher training course under Tianne Allan. Amanda is registered with the International Yoga Alliance as well as the British Columbia Associaton of Kinesiologists. She believes yoga is for everybody and would describe her classes as accessible, empowering, dynamic, and fun!
