Yoga found Kathy in 2007. Oh, it was a slow and steady love affair, no spectacular fireworks, and many love/hate moments along the way that not surprisingly, still surface today.
Yoga found, captivated and transformed Kathy. Deeply embedded in her practice and teaching is mindfulness, inclusiveness, respectfulness, and kindness. Kathy embraces self-care, self-compassion, and, self-love. By loving ourselves just as we are, we honour our individuality, uniqueness, and quirkiness, too.

Kathy’s other life-loves include family and friends, her dog Paisley (a wackadoodle), 14! chickens, her yoga community, exploring the world, giving back to her community (seva), learning, and great yoga music.
Yoga continues to enrich Kathy’s social work practice, who she is as a person, and, her connection with the world. Kathy’s yoga teachings/classes focus on strength and softness, inner reflection, and self-awareness (body, breath, and mind)
