So excited to announce our upcoming Summer Workshops at Haven Yoga and Wellness! Please see them all listed below along with a quick description.
Haven SUP is new this year to Haven, we currently have two additional classes coming up this Saturday rain or shine. For those new to the terminology, SUP means "Stand up Paddle boarding" and it's highly addictive and fun! You will enjoy a cool breeze, the peacefulness of the rippling waters and in SUP Yoga, the meditative nature. In SUP Yoga you will learn how to properly stand on your mat and stabilize your core in the process because if you don't well...you fall off! Doing yoga on a surfboard takes your yoga practice to a whole new level. Sneak peek on the lake last month here.
SUP Sampler- July 9- 9:30am (75min) $45+gst. This class will teach you the basics of SUP. We will be covering balance, strokes, turning, how to get on the board from the water, paddleboarding gear, basic safety and more!
SUP Yoga- July 9- 11am (75min) pricing starts at $35+gst. This floating studio practice brings a level of awareness, connection, and relaxation to your yoga practice. Paddleboard yoga will teach you how to breathe and be present on your board through stillness and movement as well as how to relax into the moment. Each class will bring a deeper connection to your body, creating greater stability as your muscles work to ground and balance you and offer time reconnecting to nature.

Do you or someone you know have a little peanut on the way or already here? Maybe you're wondering what are the benefits of Pre-natal yoga. Our new series Pre-Natal, Postnatal Yoga and Baby and Me classes are for you. Beginners are always welcome.
Postnatal Yoga and Baby and Me- Every Monday from July 3 to July 24- 11am. Postnatal yoga classes help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy. Classes specifically focus on rebuilding strength in the abdomen, back and pelvic muscle releasing tension in the shoulders and neck opening the chest. Classes also address common issues and concerns that may arise in this new chapter of life. Moms are welcome to bring their babies! This class is ideal for babies' ages 6 weeks to 1 year.
Pre-Natal Yoga- Wednesday from July 5 to July 26th- 6pm. Our prenatal yoga class provides a nurturing environment with an experienced certified teacher. Through yoga postures, guided relaxation and breath awareness you will prepare the body and mind for the birth, and at the same time relieve the discomfort and stress associated with pregnancy.

Moving into Ease- July 18 at 6pm- 7:15pm. Gentle yoga movements and breath supporting chronic muscle tension and discomfort. This workshop is designed to introduce participants to the Feldenkrais Method. Participants will be lead through a verbally guided Awareness Through Movement lesson followed by a question and answer period.
