This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for Haven Yoga & Wellness (www.havenyogaandwellness.com) Your privacy is important to us, and we do not share your information with any one, anywhere.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
There a few places at our sites where you can share your personal information with us, and where you can communicate with others. Haven Yoga & Wellness is the sole owner of the information collected on these sites. We do not sell, rent, or share your information outside of our company in ways that are different from those disclosed in this statement.
Some of our pages give you the opportunity to register with us, and sometimes registration is required before certain site features can be used. Our registration forms may request your contact information (such as your name, email address, mailing address, etc.), demographic information (such as your country, gender, etc.), and profile data. You may be assigned a site username and/or password. For our internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with you and provide the services you have requested, and to provide a more personalized experience on our sites. For example, your registration may allow you to create site profiles, register for classes or workshops etc. We use demographic and profile information about our guests in order to improve our service and/or for industry reporting purposes.
COMMUNICATION WITH US
We have features where you can submit information to us (such as when contacting us with a question or feedback). We will retain your emails and other information you submit to us for our internal purposes, and to help us to serve you better.
COMMUNICATING WITH YOU
We strictly follow the Canadian anti-spam legislation requirements for contacting our guests. There are three general requirements for sending a commercial electronic message (CEM) to an electronic address:
- An unsubscribe mechanism (which can be found at the footer of our email newsletter)
- Identification information from the business
- Consent - either express or implied.
Express consent requires an opt-in mechanism to receive communications. The YYoga newsletter has a manual opt-in available on digital channels.
Implied consent can include email addresses that were given to a business. Implied consent for Haven Yoga & Wellness includes offering your email address to Haven Yoga & Wellness on a waiver or as a part of your registration process for your Have Yoga & Wellness profile.
The law allows for companies to contact people who have both express and implied consent. Those who have implied consent can be contacted for up to 36 months since the last activity between the business and the guest.
Note: Emails that are considered a part of an on-going relationship (including an active pass product or membership) do not require express consent in order to inform these consumers. Thus registered users may receive email communications from us directly relating to their experience - such as notification is a credit card has not gone through.
WHO WE SHARE WITH
We do not share your personally identifiable information, email etc with any other companies. We do not sell, rent or giveaway our customer list to anyone. Your customer information and/or email address will be used only by Haven Yoga & Wellness. We may, however, disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena or other legal obligation, in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) our rights or property.
If you would rather not receive emails from us, you can unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email you recived, or by emailing us at email@example.com with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Your name will be removed from our subject line with 48 hours.

We store your personal information securely, and use special procedures designed to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. Upon request, we will delete any information that you wish us to no longer hold.
We may provide links to other sites. We are not responsible for those other sites, their privacy policies or how they treat information about their users, and we advise you to check their privacy policies.
