Sherry Hamilton, Instructor

Is a Yoga Alliance registered Hatha yoga teacher with 400+ hours of training.  She completed her yoga teacher training through the Vancouver School of Yoga under the guidance of program director and head instructor Lauren Roegele. 

Sherry worked in policing for over 27 years and started her yoga journey in 2012 as a way to quiet her mind and connect with her body due to work related stress. Yoga had such a profound effect on her that she decided to do her yoga teacher training in 2014 so she could share the powerful benefits of yoga postures, meditation and breathing techniques with others.

Sherry is deeply inspired by the empowering practices of yoga, as it is those practices that help her manage her PTSD. A consistent yoga practice can help you manage your physical and mental health and she is excited to share these practices with you. When attending one of Sherry's classes you can expect a safe, non-competitive environment where you are encouraged to be yourself and explore the connection between breath and movement.
